The Toyota Hilux Double Cab is Southern Africa's most trusted overland platform — and ours is configured for genuine self-sufficiency. With selectable 4×4 high and low range, a turbo-diesel 2.4 or 2.8 GD6 engine and proven ground clearance, it shrugs off the corrugated gravel of Namibia and the sand tracks of the Kalahari with equal ease.
Every vehicle is handed over fully serviced and inspected against an exhaustive mechanical and preparation checklist — from suspension fasteners to tyre condition, dual-battery charging and the camping kit. You'll get a complete walk-through of the vehicle and equipment before you leave, so there are no surprises on the trail.
Above the cab, a deluxe rooftop tent turns any campsite into a comfortable base in minutes, while the integrated kitchen, water system and 12V/220V fridge keep you self-contained for days between resupply. It's an expedition vehicle in the truest sense — refined enough for the long road, rugged enough for the wild detours.

Insurance Coverage
Each camper is supplied with the complete kit below, checked and signed off before every rental. Replacement values are itemised on handover so both parties know exactly what's aboard.
Optional extras available on request: GPS units, electric winch & remote, and satellite phones. Specialised equipment outside the standard configuration is subject to availability.
This is a summary for convenience only. Full terms & conditions, insurance exclusions and the safety addendum form part of the signed rental agreement. Rates and conditions may change without notice.
Addendum to Rental Contract
A 4×4 has a raised centre of gravity. Speed causes rollovers — and Namibia's good gravel roads see the highest incidence. Stay well below the limit and slow for corners and loose surfaces.
Walk or follow another vehicle through water first to gauge depth. Water damage from exceeding 700 mm is not covered by any insurance. High-risk: Okavango Delta & Moremi (3rd Bridge, Northgate, Khwai).
A double insurance excess applies to single-vehicle rollovers and night-time collisions with animals. Reduce speed to 80 km/h or less at night. All vehicles are satellite-tracked.
